Integrated project delivery (IPD), is a collaborative alliance of people, systems, business structures, and best practices whichBIM Picture 2 develops a process to harness the talents and insights of all participants. This delivery method optimizes project results, increases value to the Owner, reduces waste, and maximizes efficiency through all phases of design, fabrication, and construction.

There are eight main sequential phases to the Integrated Project Delivery method:
